About the Community

Sewanee Close consists of 125 acres: 100 acres of which are protected woodlands held in a conservation easement, and 25 acres are developed as a sustainable, environmentally responsible, clustered neighborhood.

Sewanee Close is committed to responsible environmental building and site development techniques:

All houses will be LEED or Earthcraft certified insuring that the homes will use less energy, water, and natural resources, reduce waste and provides a healthy indoor environment for occupants.

The site development will utilize environmentally sensitive, low impact approaches to storm water management, erosion control, pollution control, water conservation, and landscaping.
